Pedro Ernesto desarrolla la doble labor de creador artístico e investigador.
Como creador artístico ha trabajado numerosos proyectos en diferentes disciplinas partiendo siempre de la composición musical como su herramienta principal de trabajo. 
Tras sus años de estudio reglado de trombón, comienza a indagar en el mundo del pop de bandas y realiza numerosas colaboraciones con grupos de la escena española llegando a compartir varias giras por toda España, una gira por Argentina y México. Además en este tiempo realizará diversas grabaciones de estudio.
A partir de 2019 decide sumergirse en nuevos terrenos y en la exploración de otros lenguajes. Desde entonces busca el punto de convergencia entre la crítica social, las narrativas de ficción y la música experimental. 
Ha participado en el Festival de Arte Sonoro «Allinquindoi» de la Universidad de Granada, ha recibido becas de creación como la Residencia Artística en el Centre d’Art Contemporani i Sostenibilitat (CACiS) de Barcelona en 2023/24, la beca de creación escénica «Creación en el Infanta» promovida por el Ayuntamiento de Jaén (2023), la Residencia Artística en el Centro de Formación Escénica de Andalucía, promovida por la Junta de Andalucía (2024) o la Residencia de Creación-Investigación dela Universidad Internacional de Andalucía (2025).
También ha desarrollado algunas acciones en el campo de la performance, llevando a cabo propuestas de este tipo en España y Portugal. Por ejemplo la performance «La virgen de la amargura no tiene cura» en el contexto del 23 Encuentro de la Associação de Professores de Expressão e Comunicação Visual. En el 2024 presentó «Koroneiki», la primera obra de teatro-musical creada y dirigida por él mismo. 
Como investigador, es graduado en Historia y Ciencias de  la Música por la Universidad de Granada y actualmente realiza su tesis doctoral en la Universidad de Jaén, investigando sobre el paisaje sonoro en puntos calientes de biodiversidad centrándose en la escucha mística y la experimentación estética. También señalar que participa como investigador en el Proyecto Europeo Erasmus+ HIGHRES (Helping Intangible Heritage Resilience through Storytelling). Recientemente cursó clases de creación artística con el compositor Brian Eno.

Pedro Ernesto develops a dual practice as both an artistic creator and a researcher.
As an artistic creator, he has worked on numerous projects across different disciplines, always starting from musical composition as his main working tool.
After his years of formal study in trombone, he began to explore the world of pop band music and collaborated extensively with groups from the Spanish music scene, taking part in several tours across Spain as well as a tour in Argentina and Mexico. During this period, he also participated in various studio recordings.
From 2019 onwards, he decided to immerse himself in new territories and explore other languages. Since then, his work has sought points of convergence between social critique, fictional narratives, and experimental music.
He has participated in the Sound Art Festival “Allinquindoi” at the University of Granada and has received several creation grants, including the Artistic Residency at the Centre d’Art Contemporani i Sostenibilitat (CACiS) in Barcelona (2023/24), the “Creación en el Infanta” performing arts creation grant promoted by the City Council of Jaén (2023), the Artistic Residency at the Andalusian Centre for Performing Arts Training promoted by the Regional Government of Andalusia (2024), and the Creation–Research Residency at the International University of Andalusia (2025).
He has also developed work in the field of performance, presenting proposals of this kind in Spain and Portugal. One example is the performance “La virgen de la amargura no tiene cura”, presented in the context of the 23rd Meeting of the Associação de Professores de Expressão e Comunicação Visual. In 2024, he presented “Koroneiki”, the first musical-theatre work created and directed by himself.
As a researcher, he holds a degree in History and Music Sciences from the University of Granada and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Jaén. His doctoral research focuses on soundscape studies in biodiversity hotspots, with particular attention to mystical listening and aesthetic experimentation. He also participates as a researcher in the European Erasmus+ project HIGHRES (Helping Intangible Heritage Resilience through Storytelling). Recently, he attended artistic creation classes with composer Brian Eno.
